I have a discs of tron upright that i bought in the mid 90 s being a huge tron fan it s the only arcade machine i have ever owned.
Right now my main concerns pertaining to getting inside of it are.
One day for example your insurers say that they can t insure you unless you lock everything up properly.
One end of the z should be in the lock it doesn t have to go in far with the straight segment parallel to the face of the cabinet.
Simply slide open the cabinet by pulling on the handle to access the inside.
But unfortunately it did not come with the key to open the cabinet.
Place one end of the torque wrench into the lock and apply pressure with your thumb.
Cleaning out 23 years of accumulated.
Pull on the handle to open your filing cabinet.
The other end of the z is where you can press with your thumb.

The cabinet remains unlocked unless you use a key or tool to move the keyhole into the correct position.
I ve never lost my house key but i ve certainly misplaced the key to that filing cabinet i never need to lock.
The keycap was made entirely by hand and tool.
There are 2 different key sets available and either set includes a total of 2 replacement keys.
Once the keyhole is moved to the correct position the cabinet is unlocked.

Whoops looks like i m late to the party here and you ve already solved the problem but here was my original two cents added to the topic.
Doesn t matter i tell myself i won t ever need to lock it except all of a sudden we do need to lock that cabinet.
I am finally getting around to trying to repair it but i seem to have lost the keys to both the cabinet and the coin door.

Did you just buy an arcade or pinball machine and it didn t come with the key.
A unique serial number is on the bottom of the keycap as well.
